Professor Mark Esposito is world renowned for his research and teaching in the area of economic complexity and strategic competitiveness. In 2016 he was named as one of tomorrow’s emerging thought leaders most likely to reinvent capitalism by Thinkers50 and inducted into the “Radar” of the 30 most influential business thinkers in the world. Mark teaches Business Government and Society and Economic Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education since 2011. He also serves as Institutes Council Co-Leader, for the Microeconomics of Competitiveness program(MOC) at the Institute of Strategy and Competitiveness, at Harvard Business School, led by Professor Michael Porter. He holds professorships at Grenoble Ecole de Management and Hult International Business School.

He holds Fellowships for the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai, UAE; the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge; the Social Progress Imperative and with the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils in Washington, DC. In addition to working in academia, Mark is the Co-Founder of Nexus Frontier Tech, an Artificial Intelligence Studio, based out of Boston, London, Geneva and Tokyo. Mark is also active institutionally and from 2013-2014, he advised the President of the European Parliament, in the analysis of the EU systemic crisis and has been named Global Expert for the World Economic Forum, where he has contributed to 3 reports and is currently member of the Future of Production team.
