NECSI congratulates Olympic sculler Michelle Guerette, a member of the NECSI community, for winning the silver medal in the Bejing Olympics women's single sculls. This Saturday, Guerette finished with a time almost three seconds better than the previous olympic record, and only .44 seconds behind gold medalist, Rumyana Neykova of Bulgaria.

"That was my best race ever," Guerette said in an article appearing in The Boston Herald. "It was better than my best race."
